If you think that just adding a button to switch theme is easy, then I would expect someone would had atleast made a pull request to try to get it added for everyone long time ago already. Qt Fusion Syle was made default not long ago in qBit v5.0.0alpha1 to get Dark Mode change automatically as set in your Windows Settings, so not enough tests and discussions have been done yet. If you dislike using this simple workaround that forces qBit or other software to run with dark theme, then start using experimental qBit v5.0.0alpha1 or try Windows built-in Ease of Access settings to force everything to have dark background. I couldn't figure out how to run qBit using PowerShell either and seems convenient enough to use RUN or modify qBit shortcuts until there's no more need to use this make it so complicated if it is there? I tried adding -fusion style, but that seems unnecessary, because that didn't make any obvious difference how qBit v4.6.0 looks like. Or on desktop, copy your qBit shortcut, rename it as qBit Dark Mode, then right-click on it, select properties, and then change the Target field to: "C:\Program Files\qBittorrent\qbittorrent.exe" -platform windows:darkmode=2 Open Start Menu, right-click on the qBit shortcut, select to open its location, now right-click on the shortcut file, right-click on it, click properties, and then change Target field to: "C:\Program Files\qBittorrent\qbittorrent.exe" -platform windows:darkmode=2 "C:\Program Files\qBittorrent.exe" -platform windows:darkmode=2Īlternatively, you can modify qBit shortcuts: Right-click on your Start Menu icon, then select RUN, then copy and paste the default qBit location with the extra command and press OK:
